Partnering with Parents
Parents are the primary educators of their children. The Canadian Reformed School Society of Ottawa operates Ambassadors Christian School and partners with Christian parents to provide excellent Christ centered elementary school education for their children.
Discover the ACS Difference
Jesus Christ is the King over all things. Therefore, the CRSSO ensures that the education it provides nurtures the whole child – head, heart and hands. ACS meets or exceeds Ontario’s Ministry of Education guidelines and the curriculum that is taught is similar but our approach and understanding are unique. The daily instruction and mentorship that is provided is founded on the word of God in the Bible and propels each child forward in their calling in all areas of life as Prophets, Priests and Kings.
Four-Day School Week
Since inception in 2011, Ambassadors Christian School has operated with a four day school week (Monday - Thursday). Children are given Fridays to accomplish home work or special projects and come back to school refreshed and energized on Monday. The weekly rhythm has allowed both the staff and the student body to thrive.
Uniform Policy
We believe that a uniform dress code helps to create a sense of community and belonging among our students. Our uniform policy is designed to be simple, affordable, and practical.
Parental Involvement
When you join ACS you are joining a community. Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents in the classroom and are expected support extra curricular events. This not only helps helps them stay connected with their kids but also helps the school operate more efficiently.
Phone Free
At Ambassadors Christian School, we believe it's very important to give children access to technology. It allows them to learn about the world around them in new and exciting ways. However, no personal digital devices are permitted at school. A phone-free schooling environment liberates children to build relationships and build character.
Parental Promise
“We will commit ourselves wholeheartedly to God’s words and never forget his good commands. Let’s work together to teach them to our children. We will talk about them when we are at home and when we are driving along the road of life, when we lay down to sleep at night and when we rise in the morning. We will do everything we can to make it known that we are Ambassadors for King Jesus. We will do this with eager expectation and faith in God’s promise that as long as the sky remains above the earth, we and our children will be given all we need to flourish as Citizens in the Kingdom of Heaven—the land of our forefathers.”
